How these guides are written
Who writes them
Sang Cao, who designs, builds and supports SideSpace. A guide answers its question first, without the app; where SideSpace is the better fit, it says so in plain words — “my own app” — in its own section.
Where the facts come from
- About SideSpace: the app’s code and its release notes, not plans. Figures such as storage budgets come straight from the app’s source.
- About iOS: steps are checked on the iOS version named at the top of the guide, with screenshots taken on that version.
- About other apps: their App Store page and their own website, read on the date given in the guide. Prices and plans change, so check the listing before you buy.
- Rules and research: the primary source — Apple’s documentation, laws, published studies.
How they are written and checked
Drafts are written with AI assistance. Steps, figures and claims about how an app or iOS behaves are checked against the sources above before a guide is published. A guide shows when it was published, and an “Updated” date only when something a reader relies on has changed; its changelog at the foot says what.
